Never ending Savage Paint?

I would suggest the route previously said by someone and get 120 taming with it. You did everything in your power to make sure that EA was aware of the situation. I see nothing wrong with you using it to your advantage while they take their time to correct the problem if they even correct it at all. With all the bugs and problems with things they have had lately I highly doubt this will rate high on their "things to fix" scale. Just my thoughts on it.

soulstone a skill youre not using off. lower total points means less time between ggs gains. also i worked taming there and i believe my gains were best when i showed about 90 skill. so i would remove +taming items to stay in that range.
Soulstone off the skills and clear out his inventory, then delete him and make him up again. Then restone only the skill you are wanting to gain in, one at a time, until he is where you want him to be. Keep the skills as you work them. If you are going to work taming, be sure to put Animal Lore back on your character, though, or you will just fail to many times and never gain.
2 things about Irwins post.
1. If you delete the character then you delete the neverending savage kin paint and you have to work taming like the rest of us. 2. If you didn't want to do taming and do the spellweaving like you wanted to do. Deleteing your character and remaking it would be a viable solution to the problem. If you do decide to take this route I would highly suggest that once you delete the character go into your UOA folder and delete the folder for that character as well. Its rare but I have seen where if you have a character and delete it and make it again with the same name that macros and such get screwed up. ![]()
some developments.........
1. I moved Ike's taming over to a new character, that still hasn't gained. Leads me to believe that the "skill" is bugged or frozen... I dunno. I did however rebuy taming skill on Ike up to 40, and he is gaining again. 2. I did not realize that Paragon creatures that normally would have nuetral or positive karma will attack unprovoked. For example, Ike was never attacked by Paragon Ridgebacks or Paragon Hinds etc..... The new tamer, Shalibr, has been attacked several times by this creatures. So with the characteristics that Ike will not be attacked by savages or neutral karma Paragons, I think I will keep him. So what if he can't transform into a Reaper or Etheral state, that is what peace is for.
