A college students crazy first semester!

*sighs!*

It's about over! *wipes forehead* My first semester of my new university for music!

So far what has happened:

Marching band season was awesome! Ended up being the only piccolo and getting tons of solos!

Got a job as the pit line instructor at my old high schools rivals *snickers* I enjoyed the job so much! I got drafted for next year and I am helping writing the marching band show for next year for the band. James bond!!! (:

Was recognized as one of the best piccolo players in 10 years by the dean of preforming arts. With good intonation and sense of pitch! *score!*

Has declared my TWO majors! Music Education and Music Preformance, going to declare my history minor after the first of the year.

Has so far, and will, pass all of my classes with a B+ and higher! (English kicked my tail this year!)

Got to be one of the 12 drummers drumming for our Christmas tree lighting and won first place! *heck yeah!!!*

went to a music conference and got to play a new wooden piccolo *drools* and an awesome bass flute and alto flute!!!!

Will have preformed for 500+ people as a soloist preformer come Friday at 5:45, so if you happen to look at the clock pray I don't mess up (:
--I am preforming 3 pieces, Movement One and Two from Suite Modale by Ernest Bloch and Syrinx by Debussy.

Exams start Monday and Tuesday and I am done Wednesday!!!!!!

Within the next month (December) I will be able to sit in a symphony pit with my private instructor and get to experience an actual musical show!!!

I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving, ate lost of turkey and enjoyed some really delicious desserts!

I hope to pop on soon after the first of the year! Aj, if some of you remember me mentioning him, he's my boyfriend of 5.5 years will be moving down and we will be moving in together going to Catawba together! Really excited about that!

For some of you who know Judas, my father, he is doing fine! He is currently in Flordia on a job enjoying some warmer weather! He says Hi to everyone when I say I am going to post on here about the events that have happened.

I miss you all and I hope to see you guys soon!!!!
