If you are going to use your mage for any damage, you probably want to add Evaluate Intelligence. I know that is what I would add.

Yep, Eval.

*points* ... I agree with what they said.
Your template is much like mine. I did one thing different and added poisoning in place of resist.

i have to agree with the group
which is weird i normally try to disagree just so that i can be different but if your planning on doing any kind of major stuff with your magery or even just using either of the healing spells then eval will definately make a difference

Magery 110, focus drop down, stealth 100, hiding 100. And add eval. Hiding at 80 means 20% of the time you will fail hiding, that can be 5 times in a row, which sucks.

The healing effect of magery depends solely on the magery skill. Eval has no bearing what-so-ever on it.
I would definently try to get 100 hiding, but if you can't, at least invert your stealth with it. 80 stealth is standard for stealthers since it is just as good as 120 if you wear a medable suit (less it's been changed).
magery 110
hiding 100
resist 100
med 110
stealth 80
spellweaving 100
stealing 120
That's what I'd do to this template, I think. I'd prolly drop med enough to 120 spellweaving too though. I'd really rarely play a template like this, so the limited usefulness of stealing wouldn't be a big deal on it.

I'm gonna not go with the group on this one and say take Wildman's template advice, except drop resist and pick up a weapon skill or wrestling. That way you have some defense chance against AI spammin' noobs who try to run by and kill you in 3 hits.

I think it's a PvM template, jr... else I woulda said drop every non-mage based skill on it for mage skills =D

Well, it has no weapon skill or wrestling, a first sign... It only has spellweaving for damage. It has stealth/hiding (powerful PvM skills). Stealing, as we both agreed in a different thread, is only moderately annoying in PvP.
Seems like a PvM template to me.

Yeah, I just keep forgetting to think along those lines...generally my PvM templates kinda fall into place as I use them, its the PvP templates I generally have to think on.

Okay, since Karn is a PvMer, go with my advice.
Pay no attention to the PvPers, who know nothing of slow mindless monster bashing.
