    Okay, the Jousting Event is this Saturday.

    If I'm not mistaken, even with a UBWS lance, you will still need Tactics to dismount the other guy. Am I right or wrong?

    And you best be there!

    You are correct. Since it is a primary special move you will need 70 weapon and 70 tactics to use the dismount. This would apply even for mage weapon, so mages would need tactics to use special moves.
