EVENT LEADERS

HAIL PAS and Alliance Members,

Last evening the Elder's held lengthy discussions on the merits of designating battle leaders primarily for our fel events. The Elder's major concern was not wanting to create new titles or any new class distinction. But we do recognize a need for clearly identified lines of authority, particularly in any raid situation.

In general I, as well as the Elders present, believe that our combat discipline while improved needs just a little more work. Our vent use in these situations is much improved as of late so thanks to everyone for reducing the chatter during theses parts of events.

In order to clearly identify the person who is "in charge" of any given event the Elder's decision was two fold. First prior to departing NJ we will announce in Vent and Alliance Chat the person designated as the event leader. This may or may not be an Elder depending on the knowledge and skills of those present for the event. Additonally an Elder will post the name of the Event Leader in a comment on his/her Ventrilo name tag. This will serve as a reminder of who should be issuing orders during the event.

None of the above is intended to dampen our present game play. Our hope is that by clearly identifiying the Event Leader and then having people attend to his/her direction we will improve our survivability in raid situations. Please cooperate and follow the instructions of the designated Event Lead.

Also watch for some opportunity after Events for team PvP practice. Honing a few simple techniques like buddying for healing and fielding may significantly improve our chances of success at fel champs.
