there are an estimated 2 million philatelists in the US.

And based on this information, there are about 20,000 quidditch players in the US.

Sounds they have a long way to go to catch philatelists (stamp collectors). Philatelists enjoy a 100 to 1 ratio currently (although philately took decades to develop their followers and quidditch is very new).

I used to be one a LONG time ago (philatelist).

I'd probably pull a hammy if I tried to play quidditch (if I had a hammy that is).
