do we want this in fel or tram? In fel, bodies can be looted, thieves can mess with us, etc. In tram, everything should be safe, fun, KD killing action :)

Ahh, So the only requirement would be a guil;ded characher. I got it. Haven't actualy run this before, I understand it was pretty much a free for all, with it usually ending up a hunt for KD ;-). Apprciate any other tips.

from the old rules ..

ganking is ok, teaming up isnt (once a person is ganked, everyone turns on everyone, so u dont have 2 or 3 guys running around working together.

dont get mad if you have a 1 on 1 and then others join in .. if you want to 1 vs 1, you can do that outside of this event.

hiding is ok, summons are not. Poison is ok, dismounting is ok, roof jumping was ok in the old days (if the town we used had roofs we were able to jump to).

Absolutely do not touch any one's body but your own, and no looting of anything, even as a joke. Its a bannable offense to steal from another PAS at MM.

No res killing (when you res, get that death robe on and keep it on till you are ready to play again). So dont target anyone with a death robe on. If you get res killed, just tell the person running the event, they will make sure the person that res killed understands the rules.

DONT GET ANGRY .. almost anything goes, but we expect good sportsmanship from everyone.

When you die, you will lose insurance gold. DO NOT uninsure anything for this event, as you might not remember to reinsure at the end and might lose the items ingame later. If this happens, its not PAS's fault.

If you need insurance gold, ask KD (Chalnoth now if he wants to continue the practice) before or after the event for the replacement gold from PAS coffers.

At the start, the person running the event will name a safe zone (if there is one). Like south wall of the Minoc bank tram (for Minoc Madness). We still recommend anyone watching should wear a death robe.

We try to announce in Alliance chat before we start with a reminder that anyone in PAS or Alliance coming through that town could get killed, and if this happens anyways, we replace gold and remind the dead player to avoid that town for the 1 hour of the event.

That's my recollections of the spam of rules I tried to say before each MM.

Oh and sometimes we allowed pets, sometimes we didnt. That's probably something to specifically say at the start too. But tamers need to know if they use pets they can and will get killed (no bitching about that either).

:)

oh and I believe any PAS or Alliance member will be flagged the same for this. If you still only want PAS chars, then we can state this, but people will not have time to try to read a guild tag in the fights, so the same color will likely be targeted.

Eh?

Psh, royal guard. I had more fun killing KD at MM than protecting him :P

KD, the most important rule I remember that you didn't list was, "Keep off the Grass". If you stood on the grass you were not participating, therefore not to be attacked. That way people who wanted to watch could come and not be attacked (which is probably the only way I would ever have come to this event, so I was glad for that rule.) I like to watch these events--don't care to pvp with guildmates.

All alliance members can participate, as far as game rules are concerned. So, if you make it open to alliance, then FOXX and other allied guilds can take part, rather than having to switch to a PAS character.

true Ciara, that was the Magincia safe zone (the east to west strip of grass next to the healer's if I recall). I mentioned the safe zone, but wanted to be sure the person running the event knew they were supposed to state any safe zones before we got the event started.

Otherwise that can lead to a potential problem.
