walkthrough of Ultima Online quests
by Masochism » Tue May 01, 2007 2:45 pm
If you haven't already been to Haven, you will come to find that the town has had an extreme mekeover. Haven is overrun with skeletons, zombies and wraith-like Spectral Spellbinders. There is a town to the North West of Old Haven called New Haven where there are quest-givers for each skill. They require you to take the selected skill to 50, and they then reward you. These are the items I have obtained thus far. I will update as I complete quests.

the items are guaranteed
you can do more than one quest at a time
and you don't need a new or old char, just one that can train the skill up to 50.0 (jewels and such won't help, must be real skill)
example: character with 0 swordsmanship takes swords quest, gets trained to 40.0 (yes most of them will train you to 40) then work the skill in old Haven up to 50 and return for your reward. work it in old Haven because the gains and such are better there, you'll get a message when you enter the area with enhanced gains for your quest.
the other, easier way, grab your swordsman, stone off swordsmanship, go get the quest. run home and stone your skill back to your char and presto, quest completed, now return for your reward.
i did most all of them with one char, just stoned off a few skills, worked a few up, then turned them down and moved to next quests. worked magery/meditation/eval at the same time, swords/parry/tactics, ect.
great info Masochism, i still need the chivalry and wrestling
note: i hear the necro and spirit speak just give regs and a full necro book
What if the Hokey Pokey IS what it's all about?

Quick questions (if anyone knows) - can you do more than one quest at a time? Are the items guaranteed or is it a chance of getting the cool blessed items? Does it have to be an established character or can we create a new character just for doing these quests?
Thanks so much for all your hard work -- I will try to get a rune book put together for everyone to use at the PAS house out side of Luna
THANKS AGAIN HUN - YOU ROCK
First off, you are quite welcome. I had fun doing these quests. Secondly, you can accept every quest at the same time, and them get them done one by one. The items will be the same as I have posted, there is no variation to the items you will receive for each quest. I created a new character on another shard to do these quests, because all of my characters are polished, and I had no room to raise random skills and no soulstones to give me breathing room. wild flower wrote:One more quick question do you have to be at 0 skill to take the quest I know you have to work it to 50 but what if I start out at 30
You can be at 49.9 and accept the quest. The character I started was at 50 Bushido, I lowered it 0.1% to accept the Bushido quest and raised it once and got the gain I needed to complete the quest.
Good luck hon!

Hey WF...I already marked the runes and the books are outside on the steps to my house south of Luna...Fell free to copy...well I guess it would be almost as quick to just run around New Haven and mark em yourself...hehe

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is TC1, exactly?
Is it short for Test center? 'Cause I don't see the Ninja on Sonoma or Atlantic!
