I know the stat cap per day is either 10 or 12, I've heard both.

None the less, when does that reset? is it at server up? or 24 hrs from your last gain? or what?

I stopped working stats last night at 2130, I had gained 10 pts worth of stats and logged, today I log in and only gain +2 in a matter of 2.5 hrs, what gives?

Each stat point you get is added to your stat total for the day.

If you got your first one at noon, and another at one, then one at two, and your last stat for the day was at eleven, the next day you'd be able to get one at noon, your second at one, etc.

Basically at any given time if you have acquired 12 stat points in the previous 24 hours, you can't get any more until the oldest one has been more than 24 hours ago.
