Stat issue

I was running a mage/tamer template but I have decided to trade in magery for archery. I currently have 90 str, 10 dex, and 125 int. I set my int to lower and dex to raise since I am trading in int for dex but after two days of using archery I have not seen my stats change by a single point. I even tried setting str to lower just to see if that would do anything but it hasn't.
Anyone have any idea of why my stats are stuck. I am on the 2d client now but I am going to download the enchanced client and see if that changes it.

check this and see if it helps.

In the old days we had to work certain skills to gain a particular stat. This seems to indicate that things haven't changed.
Worth playing with anyways.

It did finally start moving but it is going at a crawl. I think it is just because I am at the 225 mark now.

Make sure your archery is set to go up, even it's at the skill cap.
I recently did massive stat changes, then the reverse, with no problem. What I did was stone one skill and buy junk skills to get back to 720 total. Then I worked arms lore to 25, which builds strength, set it to drop, worked item ID to 25, set it to drop, then repeated with arms lore.

Best I can figure is Stats like Strength, Dex and Intel won't change unless your skills are going up. So I soulstone a skill and then let focus/meditation go up. Those skills go up really fast so the stats go up fast too. Focus will raise Dex or Intel. Meditation will raise Intel and Strength. Then just flush the skill when you have your stats where you want them.

I know this is an old post, but I'm curious... Are the Spectral Spellbinders still in the Haven cemetery? I always used them to change up my stats via resist spells. Attack a couple dozen of them so they follow you around, casting spells on you. Stay out of melee range, though, and you won't take any damage as all of their spells are debuffs--no direct damage. You get hit with so many spells that you can GM resist spells in an hour or two. But as far as stats, resist spells will make any stat go up, and you gain so fast that you can completely reverse your stats in minutes. Of course, if you already have resist spells, put it on a stone so you can work it in the 0 to 50 range.
But that's only if the Spectral Spellbinders are still there and still work the same way...

they were still around as of 2 weeks ago. I saw someone fighting about 7 of them in the old town, but I did not see where they spawned/hung out.
But they must still work because this guy was there for awhile fighting them.
