Woke up yesterday from a nap, drank water, dribbled on my shirt, face felt weird. Looked in mirror, could not smile right, right side of my face did not work. Figured I was having stroke, wife called 911, got to hospital, ran tests. They think its bell’s palsy, not stroke. Need more tests, will try to schedule later this week. If it’s just bells palsy, then they think it will come back after a few months. Till then I sound a little like I got back from the dentist and slur some words ugh. Hard to type with right hand so this will be short. Just wanted folks to know in case you see or hear me for the next few months in discord etc.

thx all, not fun. Going to have head MRI to 100% confirm no mini stroke, but hopefully that's clear. If so, then should have full recovery.

well unfortunately, the brain MRI just confirmed that I did have a small stroke on my left brain area that caused this all, not Bell's Palsy (my 4th doc had agreed a few weeks back with me that it was a stroke, not Bell's Palsy).
Still have one more heart test tomorrow and then next week should hear from my neurologist what he thinks caused it, prognosis, etc.
So bad news that it was a stroke, so likely not 100% recovery, but good news that it was a small stroke and apparently not a blood clot or other serious issues that caused this.
I've started feeling a little better each day, and the hand problem I had from the stroke (difficult to type and use mouse buttons), has improved every day and it almost all the way back.
Like X told me the other day, I need to quit breaking myself rofl. OK I decided I will finally listen to X and will stop trying to break myself. I promikse.
